Watercolor sketching is my new favorite thing!

So in my last blog  I told you that I have broken up with oil paints.  My current love is watercolor painting.  In particular, watercolor sketching.    I just shipped off a bunch of paintings to my gallery in Edwards, CO the Alpine Arts Center.   These watercolor sketches are so much fun to make that I literally can't wait to get into the studio and work every single day!   They are all 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" on 300lb Arches cold press watercolor paper with torn edges.   I mount them on black archival paper and white core board and then put them into a clear protective sleeve.   They cost $75 and I just love making them.  They evoke a memory for people and that has been the most fun for me!   Please let me know if you would like for me to make a watercolor sketch of your favorite place!  Maybe from your honeymoon, first date, family vacation, new home, etc...   I can paint from any photo you send to me.
